True fans of the game take practice to work on their Sunday morning routine!
We mull the possibilities,
make to do lists, time out our yard chores, mowing & leave raking etc..
We time this off so we can arrive
at our pigskin palace in time to get the premo seat of our choice, and
if that happens to be a home, all the
better to invite your buddies over!
I know lots of hard core women football fans, and us guys think you are
the "Holy Grail" of women! It is
every guys wish to find the woman who we can be ourselves around during
the game! Back to Sunday...
For me a light Saturday night, ensures a bright and early start, usually
between 5 to 6 AM, really no kidden!
I start my morning with coffee and fire up the computer to view who is
killing who, and do the serious weather check for the day.
Then is the business part of my morning, checking emails, site maintenance
and design and this usually lasts until
8:30 or 9:00 AM. If I have to mow, I try not to wake up the neighborhood
until 10AM. Then it's
off to the shower, and get the football wear on. All this and the rest
of the family is still in bed snoozing, ah,
peace and quiet....
If I am hosting the game at my house, it is time to ice down the beer and
other beverages, the "Gridiron Cheeseburger Chowder" has been
made the night before, and the big pot goes on the flame right after. I
set
out the charcoal and have the Weber ready to fire up, I only cook my food on the the Weber, and NEVER use
a gas grill! I have one, but I use it for a rake stand....
I usually do burgers and brats and dogs, and the only charcoal I use and will EVER use is
Kingsford®, it is a personal choice, but it works for my friends and I.
Around 11:00 I fire up
Fox Sunday Morning Show, the GREATEST pre-game sports broadcasters show to ever
be conceived!
It is as much of the game for me, as the game is itself, and make no mistake,
I LOVE the game!
Shifting gears, when I decide to go out to view the game, I prefer small
local pubs, where all my football buddies
and I watch the game,
