A Decade Without John Denver....

It is hard for me to believe it's been ten years since John's untimely passing.

It seems like only yesterday, I got the news of his death from a friend of mine.

Then I look at the world around me, global warming and the earth in such dire straights. I cannot help by wonder
if the world could have been just a bit better off had John had another decade to plant trees and sing for our world!

After I wrote "The Ballad Of John & Annie" (Castles In The Snow), I saw it's popularity soar in about 17 countries
and be the most downloaded song on the now defunct Besonic.com. It still is one of my most downloaded songs on MP3.com,
and I as I ponder what this all new tribute to John Denver will shape up as, I realize that I have not used my gift of music
in ways I should have, or could have. The truth is, I need to do to tons more to help earth's causes...

Well my friends, that's about to change. I see the chance to be a force for a brighter tomorrow, to elevate my awareness
to greener pastures and a cooler planet too!

I know much of John's greatest musical works, were on his private Windsong/Windstar Label. I will include many
songs from these albums, as well as his tried and true classics and mega hits.

As I gather a sponsor or two for the show, check back often to see where you can catch a performance of the tribute....
