Ah yes, Dan's FAVORITE time of year will be upon us shortly!
This is the time of year, when Dan build's his totally unique CraftArt
series called "Autumn Harvest Barns TM "
and for those who find beauty in these awesome rural "castles"
you will find no greater representation of
these barns, all set in a Shadow Box in an Autumn theme. The BEST time
of year to go barn hunting and exploring!
They are created to be hung on your wall all year long, so you can keep
your love of this season, as close as a glance into these superlative miniatures!
Dan also builds "Halloween Specific" barns and Bay Window pieces,
which are not your run of the mill LEMAX® Spooky Town Collection. Those
are massed produced in China, and really do not last all that long. Dan's
"Castle Dracula" Series are truly one-of-a-kind creations that
set the theme of your bay window Halloween display!
Each Shadow Box is expertly cut by Dave M. our master cabinet maker,
then assembled and painted by Dan. Of course we only use American made
hardwoods,
and you will NEVER see these creations at Wal-Mart!!!
Every hay bale is hand cut out of styrofoam and then glue is applied,
then it is "rolled in proportionately cut straw . Then, micro fine
wire is wrapped
around the piece to simulate how a real hay bale is tied together. Finally,
the
piece gets re-glued and sprinkled with the straw. And this is done for EVERY
hay bale! Expensive art? Yes, but like Loreal, your worth it.......
Dan's CraftArt has one main element, except the piece above, it is a mill
and pretty much fills up
